Expert review of Pržina beach
A sandy beach near Lumbarda, close to Korčula Town.
Just 6 km southeast of Korčula town and 1 km southeast of Lumbarda, where you’ll also find Hotel Lumbarda, Pržina is one of Dalmatia’s rare sandy beaches. Sitting in a sheltered south-facing bay on the island’s south coast, this crescent of fine sand offers sun beds and parasols for hire in high season, plus a beach bar selling drinks, ice-creams and snacks. It’s ideal for families with kids as the water is shallow and calm, and there’s ample parking nearby. Needless to say, it can get very busy. Nudists head for the rocky shores east of the sandy beach, affording fantastic sunset views.

The sea can get a bit rough here when the jugo (south wind) blows.
